A calmer way to swap driving tests
Swap sooner without handing your details to strangers.
SwapLock helps two learners line up a manual DVSA phone swap with more commitment than a noticeboard and more privacy than a group chat. You apply once, see relevant matches, and only reveal the minimum booking detail when both sides are ready to call.
Built for follow-through
Why SwapLock feels safer than an open swap list
Both sides actively agree
A possible swap only moves forward when both learners say yes. That keeps casual clicks away from your private booking details.
No-shows are not harmless
The refundable hold gives each person a reason to be ready, answer the prompts, and stay with the swap until DVSA has handled it.
You can retry without rematching
If DVSA needs more information, the line is busy, or something has to be repeated, the match stays open and details hide again until the next call attempt.

A guided swap, from first match to final confirmation.
SwapLock does not search DVSA or change bookings for you. It keeps the human part organised: matching compatible learners, protecting the call window, and guiding both sides through the DVSA phone swap at the same time.
Tell us what you have
Add the practical test you already hold, your wanted date range, and your test centre. Your exact booking details are stored for the swap flow, not shown on the public list.
See relevant options first
Matches are ranked around date fit, centre fit, and who is actually available. Client names are randomly generated until a private deal is active.
Both sides commit
A match becomes serious only when both learners lock in. The GBP 20 MatchLock'd hold discourages no-shows before the call room opens.
Call DVSA together
When both holds are ready, the app opens a 4-hour call room with timing buttons, retry options, and a direct DVSA call button.
Reveal less, at the right time
The other learner does not see your phone, email, address, card details, or driving licence number. During the call step they only see the booking reference needed for DVSA.
Finish cleanly
If the swap works, both sides confirm and the success fee is recorded. If the call has to be retried, the match stays open without forcing you back into the pool.
Trust centre
Clear rules before anyone relies on a match.
Driving test swaps need trust on both sides. SwapLock is designed around limited data sharing, no direct chat, visible app status, and a payment hold that makes disappearing from the call window less attractive.
Verified reviews only
Public review scores will only appear after they come from a real SwapLock review profile. No invented stars, no borrowed testimonials.
Local launch trust
Launch pages will focus on real UK test centres, with early attention on South London before expanding nationwide.
MatchLock'd payment hold
Production uses Stripe manual card authorisation so a hold can be captured only when the agreed outcome requires it.

FAQ
Plain answers before you trust the app with a booking.
Is SwapLock a cancellation checker?
No. SwapLock does not scan DVSA, automate DVSA, or take over your DVSA account. It helps learners coordinate a manual swap themselves.
Why use a MatchLock'd hold?
Because a swap needs both people to show up at the same time. The hold makes the match feel more serious before any private booking detail appears.
When do I see the other learner's details?
Only after both people are MatchLock'd and the DVSA call step starts. Even then, the other side only gets the booking reference needed for the phone swap.
Can I message the other learner?
You can send safe status updates such as ready now, line busy, retry in 30 minutes, or DVSA needs more information. There is no free-text chat or contact exchange.
What if we both change our minds?
If both learners mark the match as no longer wanted during the call window, the hold is released in full and the match closes cleanly.
What if one person disappears?
The app records the outcome, protects the other learner, and applies the agreed ghosting fee logic. That is the point of keeping the call inside a timed, structured flow.
Contact
Support that stays tied to the match.
SwapLock support is designed around match IDs, application status, and payment records, so help can be given without exposing one learner's private contact details to another.
Match support
Use your deal screen first. It records lock-ins, payment holds, DVSA call attempts, retry timings, completion, and no-longer-wanted outcomes.
Inside the appPayment questions
Payment support should always reference the MatchLock'd hold, the match ID, and the recorded outcome, never another learner's private details.
Stripe recordsInstructor codes
Driving instructors can share launch codes with learners. Codes can support discounts, attribution, and future instructor dashboards.
MORDEN10, MITCHAM10, CROYDON10Terms
The plain-English rules of the service.
These terms explain the intended SwapLock service model. Formal production terms should still be reviewed before public launch, especially around payments, disputes, and consumer rights.
1. Coordination only
SwapLock helps users find and coordinate potential swaps. Users remain responsible for all DVSA booking changes.
2. No DVSA automation
The service must not scrape DVSA, automate DVSA, or log into DVSA on behalf of a user.
3. MatchLock'd hold
The hold discourages no-shows and supports fair settlement. Production payment terms must define release, fees, ghosting, refunds, and disputes clearly.
4. Privacy
Client contact details are not shared with counterparties. Minimum booking details are shown only inside the live call flow.
5. No guarantee
SwapLock can improve coordination certainty, but DVSA may refuse or be unable to complete a swap.
6. Account limits
One active application is allowed per person, and completed profiles cannot submit another application from the same account.
